Which of the University is the Best in Nigeria? If you are a student or a parent this is an expected question. 1. University of Ibadan 

The best university in Nigeria is the University of Ibadan. The University was the first Nigerian university to make the top 1000 in Times Higher Education. As a research institution, the University of Ibadan was founded in 1948 with various colleges under it. This makes it the oldest degree-awarding institution in Nigeria.

In 1962, it gained its autonomy, and since then it became one of the most reputable universities in the country. Today, UI has great educational facilities, and more than 1,200 housing units with sports facilities. It accommodates a total of 5,339 staff members.

2. University of Lagos 

The second best university in Nigeria in 2022 is the University of Lagos. Founded in 1962, the University of Lagos is a public research university located in Lagos, Nigeria. The university is known for many academic achievements.

The main campus is in Yaba has a special feature, with more than 700 acres of land, it is surrounded by the Lagos lagoon. The College of Medicine is located in Idi-Araba. The University currently enrolls over 57,000 students.
