For over a decade, the MILEAD Fellows Programme has been a beacon of hope for emerging African female leaders. The programme is designed to identify, nurture, and elevate the next generation of African women leaders, equipping them with the skills and support needed to tackle pressing issues facing women and girls across the continent.
What’s It About?
- World-Class Training: The MILEAD Fellows Programme offers fellows access to world-class knowledge, skills, values, and support systems crucial for success as 21st-century women leaders.
- Summer Institute: Experience a transformative three-week residential Summer Institute in Ghana, where you’ll engage in intensive training and networking with like-minded leaders.
- Community Change Project: Put your leadership skills into action by leading a community change project aimed at addressing critical issues facing African women and girls.
Who Can Apply?
We’re seeking dynamic young women aged 19-25 who have demonstrated leadership potential in their communities, organizations, or professions. Selected candidates may be full-time students or professionals during the program, except during the 3-week summer institute.
