About Africa Of Our Dream Initiative
Building a new Africa would mean creating a society where individuals will be able to thrive and at least have access to the basic things of life. The goals of Africa Of Our Dream Initiative (AODI) is based on the premise that if we invest in health, education and opportunities as well as in the human capital, invariably we lay the foundation for sustained prosperity. To this end, the aims and objectives of AODI is summarily “Youth and women empowerment through education and capacity building.” The foundation shall pursue its objectives through four categories (Women empowerment, Youth empowerment, Access to quality education and Access to quality Medicare).
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate individual who is able to multitask on different project streams and streams and is driven by human capital development for the greater good.
In addition, you should have the following skills:
- A strong managerial skill
- Be team player
- Passionate about social impact
- Ability to comfortably carry out web research
- Ability to use the internet effectively
- Good with bookkeeping
- Be able to prepare pitch deck and grant proposal
- Be creative and innovative in thinking
- Be passionate about education, youth empowerment, women empowerment and access to quality healthcare
- Be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Be flexible with assigned duties
- Tech savvy will be a plus as well as previous experience with any charity foundation
Job Responsibilities
- Management of the organization’s local and International Affairs
- Working closely associated with the Project Manager for the actualization of the foundation’s activities
- Management of the website and mails
- Sourcing and completion of Grant Applications
- Any other Duty Assigned by the Board of Trustees
