About the APCEIU 7TH Global Capacity Building Workshop and Project Grant
APCEIU is committed to enhancing the capacity of educators on fostering global citizenship through education and as part of its efforts of supporting education training programme in various forms have been offered to key educators around the world. With the accumulated experience and expertise in the area of teacher training on global citizenship. APCEIU has contribute to helping educators to become active agent of change coping with the challenges they face in the rapidly changing learning environment.APCEIU would like to invite you to apply for the forthcoming 7th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED – Global citizenship: Starting from a classroom, reaching out to a community, which will be held online for educators in ODA (Official Development Aid) recipient countries.
Benefits of Participating
This year’s workshop will offer online-based intensive training opportunities to participants, helping them to learn about key aspects and competences of global citizenship with a focus of social and emotional learning(SEL). Those who complete the workshop successfully will be given a chance for ‘grant’ and ‘mentoring’ opportunities by submitting a project proposal on GCED.
Eligibility of Participation
- Be a professional educator with a minimum 3-year career experience (formal, informal and non-formal)
- Complete of the e-learning course titled “Prerequisite course for Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED 2022” on GCED online campus (gcedonlinecampus.org) by 14th August 2022
- Be proficient in spoken and written English
- Have commitment and capacity to implement GCED training Programmes within 3 months after participation of the workshop
- Have necessary equipment such as computer and stable access to the internet to attend the online workshop

- Free information session for prospective Applicants: 29th July, 2022
- Deadline completing the e-learning course titled “Prerequisite course for Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED 2022: 14th August 2022
- Deadline for submitting application for the APCEIU 7TH global capacity-building workshop: 14th August 2022
- Notification of selected applicants: 23rd of August, 2022
- Commencement of workshop: 30th August to 7th September 2022
