The McKinsey & Company Young Leadership Programme is a prestigious two-year full-time consulting programme designed to nurture exceptional local talent into true leaders. As a participant, you will be part of a dynamic client project team, collaborating with colleagues and clients to tackle some of the toughest business challenges. At the conclusion of the programme, high-performing fellows transition into a business analyst role, equipped with the skills and experiences to thrive in their careers.
Your Responsibilities
As a participant in the Young Leadership Programme, you will:
- Work in teams of typically 3–5 consultants, actively engaging in all aspects of client engagement.
- Gather and analyse information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations.
- Present results to client management and collaborate with client team members to implement recommendations.
- Gain new skills and build on existing strengths, with exceptional training, coaching, and mentoring provided by colleagues.
- Receive guidance and support from local office partners and mentors to help guide your career development.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Young Leadership Programme, you must possess:
- An undergraduate or master’s degree with a stellar academic record.
- Less than 1 year of continuous work experience in any industry.
- A proven track record of leadership demonstrated through extracurricular activities or in a work setting.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills in both English and the local language.
